Here’s the first IR result. Got the Hoya R72 today. Handheld in front of the ixus – no mount or tripod.

Hi John, got it on eBay for about US$36. There’s a good few of them up now, have a look at 7536449256 from a seller called photogearfinder – I bought from him/her. Reliable.
Thanks Hugh. There seems to be some very good ir work out there on flickr. Michael Sullivan (http://www.flickr.com/photos/mjsfoto1956/27111506/) has a very good “IR-land” set worth checking out.
Yes, his work is amazing. He doesn’t seem too keen on sharing his photoshop secrets though…
